The 2013 Annual Report I just received in the mail shows that TV and Radio revenues comprise 9% of BYU's overall operating revenues. From all the recent media reports I've read about BYU sports revenue, the estimates are that the overall annual budget is nearly $50 million--of which 9% is $4.5 million.
I thought that BYU garnered about $800,000 per ESPN football game. Maybe it's a lot less? And maybe basketball simply doesn't generate much TV and Radio revenue. Any thoughts??
