for the ACT. I scored better than everyone of the kids that told me I should study for it. When my score came back they all said that I got lucky (including my principle, whose daughter studied for months leading up to the test), so I took it again out of pure spite and scored higher the second time. That shut everybody up. Then I bombed my first year in college.
