I can't imagine how I'd feel if I were a college athlete, and I saw thousands of fans in the stadium wearing jerseys with my number on them ... and yet all I see from that is a $400 check per month to cover my food. Sure, I'd have my college scholarship, but so would the track team's pole vaulter and nobody even knows that guy's name.

On the other hand, I don't think my stomach could handle what the Johnny Football hysteria would have been like if Manziel was allowed to sign endorsement deals while he was still in college. It would have been completely nauseating.
