Fall Sports Kickoff and gear sale report
Just a few observations from last night.

-We arrived at 4:30 for the 5:00 gear sale. We hadn't done if for a couple of years but decided to see what they had this year. Most of the stuff being sold is leftover Nike gear or used players jerseys for various sports.
-We picked up a few dry fit shirts, wife got some she really liked (it seems like the ladies can find better stuff than the guys), we picked up a couple Nike luggage pieces that were in great shape for $10 bucks a piece.
-I grabbed a cheap $5 pair of unused Nike receiver gloves. No reason except they were cheap. Later last night I was throwing the football around with my kid and I'm surprised at how far gloves have come (I'm 34 so its been 15 years since I've used any). Seems like the ball sticks to your hand.

-We dropped the stuff of in our car and got in line for the fall sports kickoff or whatever its called.
-We got a football poster and I went around with my kids to the various tables to get it signed. I have to laugh at the grown men that are walking around with 3 posters each and getting them all signed.
-Poor Taysom, he must have signed a thousand or more posters. Worse than that were the parents making Taysom pose for a picture with their kid. Come on people, get your signature, wish the players good luck and move on.
-Jamaal was in good spirits, had music on, dancing in his seat and really seemed to be having a good time.

Weather was good and not too hot as in the past. Most players seemed happy to be there. BYU had a lot of other stuff set up, bounce houses, etc. I imagine most kids had a really good time.
