If they get their offense firing on all cylinders, they could still win the
division, league, and World Series. It's just very rare that an offense performs to its peak game in and game out, and its during those off peak games that they need that ace to keep them in the game. Tall order for sure.

In all honesty, better that it happen to a starting pitcher than an everyday player like Trout. Dodgers saw how losing their everyday MVP could change a series when Hanley Ramirez got plunked and cracked his rib in game one of the NLCS against the Cards last year. No doubt in my mind that a healthy Hanley leads them to the WS. Whether they beat Boston or not, I can't say....
