I'm so excited! I've been trying for over two years to get my niece, Anna, chosen as a Thursday's Hero, and we just received notice that she was chosen! I get to go with her family to the practice on 9/4 for her to meet the team.

There is no one more deserving of this honor than Anna and her parents. Anna has low-functioning autism, epilepsy, among other disabilities. Her parents have worked and sacrificed so much to take care of her, and I'm so happy for them!
