Ludwig got hired away (and was being pushed I think)
Chow got hired away
Johnson was a clear goof. Crowton was available--lol
Erickson was brought in but they didn't have the guts to demote Johnson. Result: tied hands and crappy results. Injuries too.
Christensen: we'll see.
Conflicting schemes amid the mess and designating a freshman starter led to QB problems.
Jordan Wynn was a brittle disaster. He started as a frosh so the pipeline dried up. Chow wanted. Pocket passer but bailed. Whitt prefers a strong game and a QB with legs. As a result, there are now six QBs on scholarship and one on a mission. Passers: Wilson, Manning. Runners: Thompson, Cox, Isom, the Wyo transer, Hansen. Three of them will be gone by next year, Thompson and probably Manning and Hansen.
Chase could transfer to BYU. That would be two of Utah's bigger local wins transferring. In both cases I think they'll get more time at BYU so it's a win all around for player and program and recruiting pitch I think.
