Just did a week a Mission Beach. Great family friendly area
You have the bay on one side and the ocean on the other within a few city blocks of each other. Fun parks. Beaches were not busy and lots of kids. We had a blast. Sea World is really close by. We didn't do Belmont Park but it looks fun too. Lots of fun quirky restaurants along the main strip.
