On D, you can't just be a traditional 4-3 or 3-4 team anymore because most of the teams you're going up against are running WR heavy/spread sets. Why is your base 3-4 of most of the game, during most of the games, you're running a nickel?
Same thing for the offense. In GFGH you aren't just lining up, having Hall or Beck make a read, snap the ball and have the receiver make a read on the fly and hope the QB made the same read and threw a good ball. GFGH is about making the D make reads, recover and make new reads all at a break neck pace. We shouldn't have a set starting lineup/formation. We need the D on their heels the whole game, from the first snap. I like that Anae is acknowledging that.
