well, the plot was a little (or a lot) over the top at times. The story line of lady-gets-amnesia-and-wonders-the-city was cliche, and I kind of rolled my eyes when the daughter got kidnapped for the 17th time in one day.

There were a few things that had me scratching my head. However, the writers used plot-twists about as well as any show I've ever seen. It was straight up m-knight-shamalanish (in his good years)!
