When I lived in Florida they were the best carrier hands down. Now that I'm back in California, they are a distant 4th of the four major carriers. They're the only ones without 4g service in my town. When I drove across Nevada on I-80 I couldn't get any internet service. The same thing happened to my mom when she drove the same route last week. She has Sprint too.

Having said that, If you're like me you spend the majority of your time at home, work and church; all of which have free wi-fi, so perhaps mobile internet isn't as important as it used to be. But still, the spotty service, slow internet and poor call quality have gotten too much for me.

I currently have the Sprint SERO plan so I've been reluctant to switch carriers because it's such a great deal. However, my work just signed a deal with Verizon Wireless so I get a discounted rate. As soon as my contract is up in a couple of months I'll switch to Verizon.
