lol. I thought about including him as an example
but decided the post was getting long enough as it was.

I once heard McBride on the radio (after he had been fired from Utah) talking about Crowton's offense. He said he couldn't find any pattern to it - that it seemed like a lot of random plays without any cohesion.

I also heard stories of him drawing up plays on the sideline that the players had never practiced.

I guess when you have Doman and Staley, you can call whatever you want. But when you don't, an offense based on randomness doesn't work well.
