Adding BYU would be a hassle and not worth it from their point of view.
1. The Sunday thing requires that they change all the conference championships in all the sports to accommodate one school.
2. BYU is not a "research" school (whatever that means) from their standpoint.
3. There just aren't that many television sets added by BYU and most of those can be got from the yewts (I don't believe this either, but I'm trying to look at from their point of view).
4. Any faith based institutions can't really believe in science.
