This is just a violation of the collective bargaining agreement
meant to protect players. It doesn't really constitute an unfair competitive advantage. (I know that's what many may have been thinking reading TOP subject line. Excessive contact (e.g. Neuheisel's famous "bumps") in the NCAA is typically a recruiting violation and constitutes a competitive advantage.) Indeed some may say, including Bronco, that you don't want to have more contact in the off-season, you want to have less in order to lessen injuries that might stretch into the regular season.
