Two references of FF in the last 24 hours by ESPN and then a couple minor
Publications isn't a big sell on that term. And it is dumb to use anyway because what are they the final of? Do we talk about the final 68 (or whatever the play in games make it now) in basketball? Not really.

Final Four usually means they started with more in that tournament and got down to four.

Also the fact that an RPI exists or is also calculated for football does not mean that it has ever been used for anything significant like bowl game selections, BCS 1 vs 2 or the new CFP, etc.

With the amount of research I've done in the last 6 months about the playoffs I had never read a reference to it being the final four until your links. It is a dumb reference and is not the language used by the CFP (http://www.collegefootballplayoff.com/) in any of their official writings. The only reference I believe you'll find to FF in their items is when they compare how championship game venues are bid on like the FF and SB.

I obviously have internet....I've engaged you pretty straight on and you have acted pretty immature my suggestion would be to not represent your respectable fans so poorly...
