Case in point - at my school there was no women's Golf team, the girls played
with the boys. We had a girl on our team that was the number 3 player on the team. The number one position boy walked on at BYU. The #2 position boy didn't go anywhere on scholarship. The #3 girl received a full ride to Arizona State and eventually was an individual NCAA champion and won multiple LPGA tournaments.
The arguments that the best female golfers are on par with the best male golfers that I see from time to time are ridiculous at best.
