People who don't know very much about football put way too much stock . . .
. . . in skill position players, especially quarterbacks.
The key to football is and always will be in the trenches. You have to be beyond elite at the skill positions to make up for shortcomings on the line, and even then, you will fall short against elite competition more often than not. Ask Peyton Manning or Oregon fans.
