my dad and his brothers shared season tickets to BYU football when I was a kid. My oldest three siblings went there, I idolized Ty Detmer, and have a signed program from Hema Heimuli (he was in my sister's ward). I went to Utah State because they had a better robotics and electrical engineering program and it was the best decision I ever made (wife, undergrad work opportunities, further education, current job all resulted from it). As a matter of fact, I will be applying again this fall for a faculty position at BYU.

You can question my fandom all you want, but you are wrong. I like to tease and poke the hornets nest, and a lot of BYU fans are easy to rile up, especially if they see something like "Aggie" in the username.
