Anyone who believes there were no bitter feelings
is likely kidding themselves. I don't think there's any question Brandon has had to deal with bitter feelings. In his defense, he just wasn't ready. Bronco has taken very young guys and promoted them. However, the Doman as OC (at the time) move, was a mistake. Brandon is one of the BYU QB greats. Love the guy to death. Unfortunately, he wasn't ready for OC. Is that his fault or Broncos? Likely both, but what else was Bronco to do? Was another opportunity offered to Doman on the coaching staff? Don't know. But, yes, I do believe there have been bitter feelings with Brandon. I think it would be hard for anyone in his circumstance. However, remember a guy by the name of Jake Heaps? Do you think Jake had bitter feelings, when Doman benched him in favor Riley? Same scenario. It may do Brandon well to remember, that sometimes the guy in charge, has to make a tough decision. He has done it himself.
