Look, I think Kershaw deserves it. I'm just saying it's hard for a pitcher to win it when they only pitch about 200 innings due to missing 6 weeks (or whatever it was). That's 40-60 innings fewer than most MVP pitchers, and with the difficulty that already exists for a pitcher to eclipse every day players that gap just got bigger by missing that time. I believe he's overcome it, but others may not.
