I don't like it at all, and where there is a head-to-head, you'd think that would be a major discussion point, but SOS will be the end-all of any discussion about who is more deserving of a playoff spot.

I wager a 10-2 Texas even would get a nod over a 12-0 BYU. That would be a much more interesting discussion to observe, however. There would be some logical gymnastics to justify that one.
