I kind of prefer the coy, "I would love for them to start." It's true. And he dished out plenty of praise in the way they are playing. It's really getting down to the bottom of the barrel when we start splitting hairs about precisely how Bronco should talk about the suspensions he has said he isn't going to talk about when he's asked specifically about them by the media. Frankly, the poor guy got thrown under the bus when player's started putting the word out on their own. They made it an enduring series of questions and message board fodder. Had they not, it likely doesn't get asked until they aren't in Connecticut and then all he has to say is, "this is the team we're putting on the field against UCONN. Players don't travel for a wide variety of reasons but those reasons are internal and dynamic. There will likely be a slightly different travel squad on every game this year due to injury, academics, team rules, family emergencies etc. We're not going to go into specific reasons. But I would love to talk about the players taking the field tomorrow."
