Syracuse fans (and others) are gleeful in our BB & FB demise...
It's not just FB.
There is a little Utah/BYU thing with Syracuse across FB and BB. With them going to the ACC, they officially declared us dead in both sports.
Seriously. Saying things like we don't schedule mid major basketball teams etc.
Turns out, they were a bit premature we have 4 National Championships and they have 1.
