recruiting hasn't been as good at DE
I think Yewtah reputation for putting DL in the nfl and running a 4-3 has helped them with in state DL recruiting, not to mention their ability to manufacture acceptance with academic risks.
BYU did better with DL recruiting last year so hopefully that will continue. Running a 3 -4 and having high academic requirements doesn't help.
