And controlled the entire game and put up 52 points ( could have been 59....sat on the ball at the end on the 4 yard line) with a soph QB that has no experience....against an "SEC" defense. Now....this SEC defense was good, but they sure looked suspect in this game....especially their secondary.
As a college football fan, I can't get over what happened in Columbia last night. Sumlin has been an amazing coach and his offensive system is a GFGH but he doesn't emphasize number of plays...he emphasizes quality of plays. His formation, sets, and the ease of how the offense executed was a thing of beauty.
I covet their offensive philosophy.
Of course, it doesn't hurt to have one of the best ol's in college.
If any of you get a chance....watch the game, and you will wish BYU could play like that on offense.
The poise and confidence and execution in that environment....wow.
