Will Boise State, post Peterson end up like:
Wyoming after the 1970's (for those that don't know, Wyoming was a football powerhouse)
San Jose State after the 80's (they didn't have the run of Wyo or BSU, but they had a very good stretch - pretty sure I remember them beating an Elway led Stanford team while Elway's dad was SJSU coach - I know, Stanford and Cal were bad, but SJSU owned them)
I can't think of any similar run by any team in the 90's or 00's that was more than a season or two.
Without Peterson, I really question BSU's future. Last night they looked clearly inferior to the team they were playing. Even with Peterson, not sure they could have continued their run.
It was nice to have a few football games list night to get me through the night. I needed either that, or the 12 step program last night, just to get through.
