Since beating Syracuse 42-21 in the 2002 opener, this is what BYU has put on the board against their first opponent the past 11 seasons:
24, 20, 3, 13, 20, 41(FCS), 14, 23, 14, 30, 16

I am hesitant to expect any offensive fireworks tonight. If you combine the line in Vegas with the over/under, I suppose the prediction would be BYU 35 UCONN 20 or close to that. I will be pleasantly surprised if BYU can score 35 points tonight both because of the list above (it seems like our offense is generally sluggish out of the gate) and because I wasn't too impressed with the offense I saw at the scrimmage a couple weeks ago. We could still win by a couple touchdowns, but I think 24-10 would be much more likely.
