Two things. Because they normally do this in a gfgh style. In that scenario, d
isn't going to be able to substitute.

In the rare occurrences they actually do huddle, the advantage isn't necessarily a substitution thing but what essentially occurs is that they get to run a shift which is always difficult to deal with.

But we are talking about a team running a hurry up and calling plays from the sideline using concepts rather than plays
