Hallelujah, the curse has been lifted. Well sort of
Meaning the perpetual curse that we lose every game my boys and I attend. However, we did get stuck in traffic (it's a love/hate relationship with NYC, and what is up with route 15 in Connecticut?) we arrived late and missed the first two scores.

Some brief thoughts as I wait for my boys to wake up in our hotel room.

O-line seems vastly improved, but that was probably more obvious to anyone watching on TV.

Hill missed a few wide open receivers downfield but I attend so few games in person that it might not be that unusual. I just don't recall opportunities like that being wasted when I was in college.

As I'm sure has already been noted, our biggest problem (aside from missing 6 or 7 starters) is completely and easily fixed. The penalties, especially the stupid PF could have totally changed the face of this game. As it was it was still a great performance aside from special teams. But I just read our starting kicker was out?

I had zero interaction with uconn fans other than the drunk guy who kept saluting us with his beer, but he was harmless. The lady in front of us almost had beer spilled on her baby by a tipsy UConner but it was all pretty innocuous.

It feels good to finally see one of the elusive east coast wins in person. Goes a long way towards solidifying family BYU fandom.
