Real Estate Question... Any help?
Situation: we're buying an investment property out of state that we one day planned on likely moving into because of a desire to change my job and relocate to that specific area someday in the near future. My job situation has changed such that our move to this new property will be much quicker than expected. In disclosures for the investment property we signed (under penalty of perjury, etc) that this would not be a primary residence, and that we would not move into it for at least 60 days after closing. Because of the change in plans, we'd like to move in right away; i.e., probably within a few weeks of closing.

Question: what are the consequences if we move in within the 60 days? When we signed the disclosure, we really weren't planning on moving in right away, but my employment situation was "fluid", so we knew there was a possibility that our time table for wanting to be in the property would speed up. My mother will be living with us so we figure, worst case scenario, we can rent it to her for two months, then move in. (On that note, would it be ok to rent it to her, AND just live with her at the same time?)

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Disclaimer 1: I realize this whole situation sounds kind of questionable. My goal is to fully understand the situation so I can make the best ethical/business/personal decision possible.

Also, for those around during Ty Detmer's BYU days, TayPower is a play on "TyPower" from the Tysman rap ("Ooh, ungawa, BYU's got TyPower!") with an obvious nod to our current Heisman hopeful QB.
