BYU is my wife...but USC is my mistress
I was raised in South Pasadena, where my parents were SC season ticket holders my whole life. I grew-up going to the Colly watching guys like Pat Haden, JK McKay, Anthony Davis, Charles White, Ronnie Lott etc. When it came time to pick a college it was not an automatic to attend BYU and I seriously thought about staying close to family, friends and home and getting a degree from Troy.

This has been a tough last few years enduring through the NCAA penalties, but the Trojans kept the faith, accomplished quite a bit with a lot less to work with and are now back to full strength in scollies with a solid coach in Sark and pretty much their pick of the litter recruiting wise in the West (minus the handful of talented guys who will always want to go to places like Oregon or Stanford or even cross-town to UCLA)

I am bemused reading comments on the internet, including here, by people who think the program is in total disarray because of a really weird story about one player who made-up a story about an injury and was suspended and another who was young, disgruntled, entitled and quit the team after being molly coddled by Sark and the other coaches. And then took to twitter and was a total drama queen about it.

USC is fine...and will challenge UCLA for the PAC12 South, which is going to be a two-team race. (sorry ASU fans). It's great having two teams you love and follow closely. Last night, the Cougs got my full attention and devotion, tonight it's the Trojans.

FIGHT ON!!! BEAT THE BULLDOGS !!!
