For those who care - game summary from last night
BYU did a much better job at possessing the ball at Tennessee. Madeiros scored early and they held on to the end, winning 1-0. They have improved a lot in the past week IMO. Tennessee only had a couple of shots on goal that I can remember. BYU kept most players back and Tennessee didn't ever have much chance to threaten.

That said, they still need to learn to finish. They actually had a lot more scoring opportunities than the prior two games, but they couldn't finish. Some of it was the same problem - no clear, crisp passing up front. Instead, lots of ball-hogging on the offensive third of the field. Too many players trying to do it all on their own. Tennessee's back line seemed to take Bronco's "bend, don't break" approach. We were able to send long balls forward with relative ease.

Hatch was a little off - didn't create a lot of scoring opportunities - but was decent. We brought in Carla Swenson at forward and she played OK in the second half. She may see more playing time down the road. Looks like we have a lot of depth in case anyone goes down. Murphy in particular was the Player of the Game. She demands a lot of attention and has improved since the beginning of the season.

Next up - Baylor at home this week, followed by @ Utah on Friday. Win those two and we're in the driver's seat to go to the NCAA Tournament IMO.
