Go Haws! By year's end, KC should be recognized at Haws' level, Corbin Kaufusi
likely to be widely discussed as an NBA prospect, expect Aytes to arrive as a legit D-1 PF, and at least two of the other Cougars could deliver major upside surprises; don't know which ones but the team has never, ever had so many unknown emerging talented players on the depth chart. A couple of them are almost certain to step up forthwith. Even returning players who are often derided here should offer several special moments during the season.

Most of all by March, CB could be talking FF for the Cougars. BYU's 2014-2015 destiny could possibly be a year of historic achievement. For those looking to the distant future to see the BB team go where they have never been, the prospects may be stronger this season than the past 5 or future 5 years. Both Haws and Collinsworth manifest the urgency of seniors, as will Austin, Halford, Winder, and Sharp.

Subject to the good health of those three top players, 30 wins is the baseline (i.e. 50-50 chance), 28-32 wins is highly likely (say 75% chance for that range of wins).
