Got it. So Bronco's out of the picture? Something tells me Bronco will be involved in schematic prep between now and kick-off, and that whatever Howell dials up will bare a heavy Bronco thumb-print. And that's good.

As for Bronco-Anae, I really don't think they're all that similar. Bronco grew up in the 3-3-5. Strongly steeped in disguising what you're in. Anae's been much more straight forward.

That scheme (thankfully) changed, but tendencies remain. And unless you think we're announcing from where the blitzes are coming, when we'll have safety cover over the top, when linebackers drop into coverage, etc., we're absolutely "disguising" that stuff.

Whatever the case, Bronco's good at what he's been doing. Avoid giving up cheap stuff, and I like his chances vs. a rookie QB.
