While generally the case, there are exceptions, which you mentioned a few.
Per my friend at BYUtv, it depends on the broadcaster (in this case it's ESPN which is always a yes) AND the school/conference. So if the away school gives permission, we are able to rebroadcast it on BYUtv.

Houston, WAC (NM State, SJ State), and TCU in 2011. Then Oregon St which almost wasn't gonna be on tv at all. And the bowl games as well, but those aren't really road games, so probably only need ESPN's permission (that's just my guess).

But you're right in that this question has been asked several times for just the UConn game.
