but I would rather see a kickoff drive the returner back inside the 5 and preferably right to the goal line than having a touchback every time. A high percentage of NFL kickers get the returner to straddle the goal line when they catch the ball, which is usually better than a touchback. All the NFL did with their rules change last year was make it easier for the kickers to do that.
