Anyone going to see the Eagles at ESA tomorrow?
Got my tickets this afternoon at the ESA box office. Saved about 30.00 in 'convenience fees' and the other charges they nickel and dime you with when ordering online.

For those who are classic rockers, this has been an unbelievable Summer concert lineup which has rolled through town. America, Little River Band, Three Dog Night, Doobies/Boston. Seeing McCartney was a bucket list item for me. After the Eagles, will call it good with Elton John at the Maverick Center.

In several of these concerts, they actually took time to openly mock the crap which passes for music these days - the faux talent which is created/promoted by the entertainment media and then gobbled-up by young people who don't know the difference between REAL music/talent and what they see now on the music awards shows. In each instance, the crowd ROARED their approval of these not-even-subtle put downs. The fact that so many of these bands/artists are still out on the road, packing venues large & small with timeless music which has stood the test of 40, 50 years, and most of them still sound as great as ever, is remarkable.
