I honestly haven't read a lot on it just yet, but what I'm thinking right now is that at least he has a good support system around him that can help him get through.
I'm not helping the situation by starting another thread on it, but I hope the talk about it dies out soon. These sort of things get a bit of play, but considering the BYU and LDS connection, what was a personal problem will get far more run time in the public eye than it should. Not to mention (no offense) the LDS rumor mill will probably make the story continue to follow him even after he rehabs and to an extent taint him for quite a few years if not for the rest of his natural life.
I wish the guy the best, and hope that everyone can look at him as a person and not "that guy that made that mistake".
Good luck to ya Max.
