12.5 is in the range of a men's outfield glove, so that thing is going to be big and awkward for a chick, IMO. The glove I played with and still use when I play catch is 12", and that's plenty big. In fact, I always wanted a smaller glove, but it's hard to find quality gloves for lefties under 12" since left-handers typically don't play middle infield.
