the polls and were planning on big things happening after beating OU and pummeling Tulane. Florida State came in and we all thought that they would struggle in our altitude - combined with the long distance travel. They came in and embarrassed us in every facet of the game. They ended with a very mediocre 7-6 record that year. Virginia is 2-0 now and looking pretty good, yet we all saw how bad they were last year, and they still beat us. It is going to take a great gameplan and great execution to win this game.

It is a very different team and a different opponent yet there are some interesting parallels. I hope the result is different this time around. On a positive note, that 2009 team ended 11-2 and 12th in the country to finish the season.
