It was reported that he has a high ankle sprain. Those usually take a lot longer
to heal than a "regular" ankle sprain. They can take a couple of months, unfortunately, but often don't take that long.

Of course, I have no idea how serious Kafusi's sprain is, so I have no idea if he will be out a lot longer, or if he will be back in action soon. But I would be surprised if that kind of injury suffered early in the season would cause him to miss the rest of the season, so I doubt he will end up with a medical hardship waiver.
