You don't have to agree with it, but Bronco firmly believes in strategic R&R to stay mentally sharp, so as long as he is the coach, this is the way it will be. It is not changing--Bronco sees the end of fall camp, long weeks after Thursday games, bye weeks, and the period of time between the regular season and the bowl game as opportunities to step back from the grind in order to keep the team's mental edge.
