but currently I don't see our situation doing much to dis-way that perception either. that was the point of the CBS article. but getting in to ny6 bowl games and winning certainly would. as it stands even if we go undefeated we may not get in. that would hurt us more than hitching ride only partially to a crappy conference and rise above all those teams. we still are not member of conference. simply have agreement. we are 'better' because we have our deal with espn and are not full members.

it puts us in a place to raise to the top of g5 schools. there will be a vacuum and we don't want other g5 teams to be elveated asbove us by getting that auto bid spot and winning each year even despite having a loss.
