It's great that the penalty and suspension were overturned, but that doesn't change the fact that he was ejected and couldn't play for the rest of the game. Fortunately, BYU still won the game, but it appeared that him not playing had a negative impact on the performance of the BYU offense.
So the review committee, can overturn everything and basically say, "Sorry, the officials got it wrong," but that doesn't change the impact during the game. In cases like this there should be some repercussions for the game officials who made the call.
Sometimes officiating drives me crazy, especially when they can have such a significant impact on the game, when they get things wrong.
