Friday Night Lights tour when we went to the game in Austin. It was our own little sightseeing trip. We saw:

1. Coach Taylor's house
2. The house where Julie crashed her vehicle on purpose in Season 5 because she didn't want to go back to school
3. Riggins' house
4. Skanky single mom's house that had affair with Riggins (actually was next door)
5. Convenience store where Landry killed the dude who was trying to rape Tara
6. Community swimming pool where Julie was a lifeguard and fell in love with the Swede
7. East Dillon Lions practice field
8. Vince's apartment complex
9. (Missed Ray's BBQ, although it was in the vicinity of the practice field)
10. Panther field
11. Matt Saracin's house
12. The Landing Strip (a real strip joint)
13. Alamo Freeze (which is actually a Dairy Queen)

We were going to Riggins' field, but ran out of time. It was about 30 minutes away from the airport. (Dang.)

I enjoyed the series a lot. The finale was well done. Julie's character was really annoying. I thought they kind of missed wrapping up the whole concealment of evidence thing with Landry's policeman father. Seems like we needed some resolution to that. There were other issues, such as why Coach Taylor would lose his job to a guy who had never coached a HS football team and sent to East Dillon HS, or why Coach Taylor would turn down an HC job in college just because his increasingly whiny wife felt it was now her time to follow her career dream, while raising a small toddler.
