Yeah, and that never happens. Hello, nick foles.
It's too bad that Sorensen denied all those other offers from Alabama, lsu, usc, etc to play at byu, right? Oh wait, they didn't see the talent, either.

What people don't realize is that there aren't a lot of opportunities for guys to prove that they belong. In the case of Sorensen, heaps was there, as well as other 4 star qb's. His chances were little to none to start out with, and when he got a chance, it was rare. For this reason, every player knows that's they have to make something happen in those moments. Otherwise, they won't play...and you can't fault a coach for that.

In the case of ziggy, it is well known that he is NOT a good practice player. He was terrible in servile bowl practices, but excelled in the game. Same at byu his last year. But you want the coaches to play a guy who doesn't look good in practice, only because he is big and fast? Are you crazy?

The other thing that people forget is that ziggy did play his jr year, and he was terrible. Most don't realize this because they didn't notice him. Why? Again, because he wasn't doing anything. But you think that they should have started him over arguably their best d lineman? Huh?
