I spend $1350 a year on tickets. Football (5tix, $900) Basketball (5 tix, $450)
My wife and I go to the games and we take our 4 boys. We view BYU sporting events as a family hobby and between 17 or so basketball games and 6 football games we end up spending a lot of time at BYU events. That's $112/mo in entertainment costs for us and I feel like its well worth it.

If we wanted to cut back even more we could leave some of our kids at home (but our kids look forward to every game and I figure we're building memories they'll never forget). I just find it funny that people act like its its so unaffordable to attend games. Maybe people have other hobbies that eat into their entertainment money and if so I guess that's a choice they make.

Not to mention that get decent seats for our cost. Football North Endzone row 12. Basketball first row in the upper chair.
