I agree with this. Case in point. I was at BYU when Jimmer played his junior and senior seasons. There were many a game that I couldn't go to, because some students would camp out for the entire winter semester to be able to watch the games. As a student who was focused on getting good grades, I gave up trying to get into the basketball games, as I often had class responsibilities that would end around the start of the game.
On the flip side, with the rotating seats for football, I went out of my way to go to the game because I knew that my seats were guaranteed. I usually had a large group that bought tickets together, and this made game day that much more enjoyable.
Now I live in DC. What I wouldn't give to be able to go to a game!
