I upgraded from Android (Galaxy S3) to iPhone this summer and decided that I really don't like the iPhone compared to Android. However, Facetime works pretty darn good and I never saw anything on Android that works that well. Even when traveling overseas, Facetime had a great connection, great video, great audio - even when my wife was on 4G while out and about.

We have tried Skype over the years and it just isn't as good. I've never tried Google Hangouts, but don't really hear anybody raving about that. Facetime is good enough that I'm willing to overlook the things I don't like about iPhone just to have it.

Is there any Android alternative that works nearly as good?
