I've been in that position too.

I enjoy watching my boys play way more than I enjoy watching strangers play.

Fortunately, I'm in year 2 of a 2 year break from little league football.
THere have been many times that I haven't made it to games until after halftime because of conflicts with my boys' games. My drive is from the Salt Lake area.
